Dear Future Students,

          If your coming into College Writing II you should most surely take Dr. Kyburz class. Dr. Kyburz uses so many different tools to help you succeed in her college writing II class. Rule number 1 when writing a paper for her is to always make sure you lower case her whole name because honestly have no idea why other than that's how its written on a lot of things. dr. bonnie lenore kyburz is how she would like it written. I know she does because she made it very clear, but all in all that's not to bad to do. Kyburz tries to be that cool professor that tries to relate to her class and she does a pretty good job with it. Even though she may go over broad, but that's very rarely she is a fantastic professor. Kyburz class is very educational and very helpful in making you a great writer or in my case a better writer.

          Things I have learned in class were very helpful. I learned that writing multiply summaries can really help improve the quality of your paper. I used summaries to make my paper strong and more direct. We also in class used different tools and forms to get our point across. One way we learned how to get our point across was a Micro-theme paper that was one page and with a Multi-model video that was a minimum of 30 second. This was the first time I have ever really used something like that and it was a challenging, but very unique paper and I do believe I excelled through it. At the end I will attempt to share my video I made for this project. Everything we do may one day come back and help you in your career, but it was the fact that if you have fun and you tried to exceed expectations then you will do fine in her class.

      In conclusion, there will be many professors teaching you for College Writing II, but you will never have a professor like her. She taught me how to find myself and how to become a very strong writing. She will always be there for you no matter what and she is always be willing to talk to you no matter what. I would take her again in a heart beat because I feel that my writing style and my strength of my writing is so much better now than it ever was. Thank you so much dr. bonnie lenore kyburz for everything, you have been an inspiration like no other. And for the future students do what your asked to do before the day of the deadline because trust me it will. Thank you future students and I hope you will use this and learn from it.

Art in Island

The summary we just finished and Art in ISLAND. it was a very interesting place and i would not mind visiting it some time. I'm not sure where it is at but i would take abbey to it one day. Abbey is my fiance and i would love to take her there but that is besides the point right. but it was a very good and unique place to be.

Rhetoric

what is rhetoric? In life when you doing something on a day to day basis you over look the normal things. its how i look at things and don't realize how they got there because to me its normal. all you have to do is look, listen, and stop judging people. you need know what someone is going through and you never know what that person has done. i have always been told to never burn your bridges which to me means you never know what or who will come and help you in the long run

Class

Class with the Doctor of english is great. She inspires me to take everything I know and make it better. She is so energized and out going. I don't believe I would be the writer I am today with out her. I came into the year or semester as a very uncertain writer and with the help of the Doctor I feel so much better and confident with my work and I feel like a stronger writer. I am not have been good on the last paper but i do feel like i did better than last year on it. Thank you Doc your the best.

REFLECTION

This microtheme paper and movie we made gave me a new outlook on life. I feel that this is a great form of how to describe my paper in just pictures not words. I feel that if someone were to watch this after they would understand it so much better. I did this paper so people would understand what I went through in high school. I loved this project after it was done because for me i am not tech savey so it was very hard for me to do. I showed me a new outlook on project.

First Paper

The first paper was I hope a good one. I did a lot of reviewing about the documentary and I did a great job about it. I used in text citations and also used quotes. I feel that this paper made me a better writer. I feel a lot more confident in my ability to write better. I feel more comfortable using quotes and summarizing. I feel a lot better about papers and all.

My Crazy Week

School this week has been one of the most crazy week so far. I have so much work to do and so much to work on that I am so overwhelmed. I love Lewis, but absolutely hate when we get everything at once. Also, the internet at this school is just down right horrible. I can not do homework in my room because the wifi goes out every 5 minutes. I just need a break and I want a break. I need the weekend to do all of this homework and all of theses papers. I also could use some extra sleep. I think i can get through this and to work everything out today.

Texting and Driving Response

While watching the video about texting and driving I realize I can relate to my day to day life while being in the drivers seat. When I am at a stoplight I tend to always check my phone because I feel it is safer than texting and driving. I always check to see if my mother or if my fiance texts me. If it is not important then I try not to answer it. I care about many things and I try to do thing that will be best for everyone. I believe if I tried hard enough that that I could to not text and drive. Drivers of all ages and races need to know that it is not okay. We as a nation need to come together and fight back against this because it is only going to get worse. We now have cars that drive themselves and cars with Wireless Internet and its crazy as hell. We as a family and as a Nation need to take back control of what is ours and to better educate our kids.
